Member Spotlight

This October, the member spotlight goes to Bob Sullivan of Bay Market Real Estate for his volunteerism with the Realtor® organization on the local, state, and national levels and his service to the local community.

Bob uses his Realtor® knowledge, passion, and dedication to support new and existing members across the Commonwealth. In working with the program ‘Reconnect with Leadership’, he has diligently worked to cultivate a culture of learning and inclusivity amongst Realtors® and volunteers within the local, state and national associations. He is the 2023 South Shore Realtors® Vice President, 2023 REALTOR® of the Year, Chairperson of their Government Affairs Committee and serves on many other local committees and task forces while maintaining statewide positions on MAR’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Government Affairs Committee, Forms Content Advisory Committee, and Finance Committee. Last month Bob represented South Shore Realtors® at MAR’s Professional Awards and Recognition Dinner and won the 2023 MAR REALTOR® of the Year Award.

Bob also volunteers his time supporting local families in need, engaging in efforts to provide everything from food to Christmas gifts through the Falmouth Service Center and South Shore Realtors® Community Outreach Task Force projects.

When Christine Silva first heard about Holtec International's plan to dump radioactive waste into Cape Cod Bay, she sprang into action. Catching a local news report on a protest at Plymouth Rock, Christine immediately joined the demonstrators standing alongside state and local legislators to oppose this controversial proposal.

From that very first rally, Christine's passion to stop Holtec has driven her civic engagement. She joined the steering committee of Save Our Bay MA, a coalition seeking to prevent Holtec from releasing nuclear waste into the bay that will destroy our business and many other businesses as well as the health of our citizens. Through Save Our Bay and other local government committees, Christine has testified at the state house, attended and spoke at town halls, and embraced political participation.

In Christine's words, "We're facing a health emergency. We must preserve the livability - the survivability - of our planet. This crisis is political, so we must get political."

Upholding REALTORS®' duty to protect the environment, Christine sums up her mission: I am a REALTOR® and I recognize that the interests of our nation and its citizens require the highest and best use of the land. It is our duty to preserve a healthful environment. Let's not forget why we do what we do. Not one drop!"

We are spotlighting new member Andrew Eufrazio of Keller Williams Colonial Partners in Plymouth for his dedicated volunteer work with the Medic Now Foundation, Inc.

Andrew first learned about Medic Now about a year and a half ago when they hosted a comedy show for his brother, a Marine who suffered a traumatic brain injury while serving our country. Andrew was moved by Medic Now's mission to honor veterans and active military by providing financial assistance for healthcare costs.

Since getting involved, Andrew has been spreading the word about Medic Now's important cause and helping the foundation make connections with potential investors through his contacts in healthcare and biotech. As he builds his real estate business, Andrew has created a business plan that includes donating a portion of every sale to Medic Now.

Andrew is assisting Medic Now with a "Rock the Troops - Back to the 80's" fundraiser taking place this November in Quincy and is brainstorming other fundraising events he can host on their behalf. His passion for giving back to veterans who have sacrificed so much is commendable. To learn more about Medic Now Foundation visit:

In July, we featured Affiliate Member Deb Frank of Metro Credit Union for her humanitarian efforts supporting Ukraine.

In late 2022 and again in June 2023, Deb boarded a plane for Poland, where she joined volunteers from the Hope Foundation Shelter and UAid Direct. When she visited in 2022, she worked for a temporary refugee shelter in Przemysl, Poland and used donations to purchase and build beds for residents who would spend a few days and then assisted in transporting humanitarian aide to residents of Kherson. While there, she visited a refuge/shelter for wild, domestic, farm and zoo animals, all victims of the war.

In June 2023, she assisted UAid Direct in transporting urgent items to residents in the Kherson region of Ukraine who have been forced to flee due to flooding from the Kokhovka Dam collapse. She drove old, donated transport vans for over 12 hours on roads where parts had been destroyed by the war, unloaded supplies, and then drove halfway back to stay in a safer area. In addition to the cost of the supplies being purchased for transport, the round-trip cost for fuel for four trucks was estimated at $750.00.

We commend Deb Frank, not only for writing a personal check to support the cause, but for her bravery to support refugees on the front lines. To learn more or to support her efforts, contact Deb directly at . View for information on the Hope Foundation and their Ukrainian support.
